Introduction Polyester chips are classified as filament grade, bottle grade and film grade. The filament grade chips include semi-dull, bright, super-bright and cation-dyeable ones. The appearance standard is that semi dull chips are milky white or gray, bright chips are transparent, super bright chips are colorless and transparent, and cationic chips are transparent (yellowish) and the chips are of uniform size. The filament grade chips are applied to produce filaments such as POY, FDY, staple fibers such as cotton-type, rayon-type and wool type and other specialized fibers. Film grade chips are applied to produce polyester films and packages. There are 3 bottle grade chips production lines with the production capacity of 170 thousand tons per year and bottle grade chips are usually applied to produce carbonated-drink bottles and thermal-filling bottles.
